Ten-Minute Turkey Time Tradition Treasures
Snack Attack Turkey Centerpiece

Ingredients
1 Melon or Gourd
1 Pear
2 Raisins
1 Red Pepper
1 Orange Pepper
Toothpicks
Long Skewers
Crackers
Your Favorites Snacks for the Skewers (“Feathers”): For example: grapes, olives, cheese, tomatoes, pepperoni
Slice the bottom of your melon or gourd to ensure it will sit flat on your serving dish. Slice the pear in half vertically, as this will serve as the face of your “turkey”. Cut the red pepper to resemble the long red wattle of a turkey, and your orange pepper in a triangle for the beak of your turkey treat. Use the remaining orange pepper to create “turkey feet”. Also select two perfectly paired raisins to be the eyes.
Next, use toothpicks to hold the beak, wattle, and raisin eyes in place on your pear. Once the face of your turkey is assembled, attach the pear head to the melon body. Position the two orange pepper turkey feet at the bottom of the melon.
Now for the fun to begin designing your feathers using skewers of your favorite snacks. After you’ve filled each skewer leave approximately 1 1/2” at the end to stick into the back of your melon turkey body. Keep adding feathers until your creation is complete. Feel free to add crackers to the base around your turkey. Once guests arrive, they will be sure to flock to your scrumptious centerpiece snack.

Petite Pilgrim Pencil Holder

What You’ll Need:
Black 8 oz Paper Cups
Black Card Stock Cut in Circles ~3” to 3 1/2"
1/3” Glitter Gold Card Stock Squares
Mustard Colored Thin Strips of Paper ~8” long and less than 1/3” wide
Glue
X-Acto Knife (Adult Use Only)
To begin, a responsible adult will need to use an X-Acto knife to cut a complete round hole in the bottom of each black paper cup. After this process is complete, little ones can gather round for the pilgrim hat assembly.
First add glue to the thin strip of paper around the top (largest end) of the paper cup. Add the glitter square onto the thin strip to serve as the hat’s buckle. Add glue to the top edge of the cup and place the black card stock circle on top. Flip over and dry your petite pilgrim pencil holder. It’s the perfect office or craft station accessory for markers, crayons, pens, and pencils.
